Direct Reduced Iron (DRI)

Our journey begins with Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) or Sponge Iron. Using the DRI process, we convert high-quality iron ore into sponge iron. This step is crucial, as it lays the foundation for producing steel with superior strength and durability. The DRI process ensures high purity and consistency, giving Suryadev an advantage over scrap-based steel manufacturers.

Steel Melting Shop

In our Steel Melting Shop, sponge iron is melted along with ferro alloys in electric furnaces. The molten metal is refined in our Ladle Refining Furnace to achieve the precise chemistry needed for high-quality billets, adhering to BIS standards.

Automated Rolling Mill

Billets are casted in our high-speed Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) and move to our state-of-the-art Automated Slit Rolling Mill, equipped with both horizontal and vertical stands. This advanced design ensures precision rolling, delivering TMT rebars with consistent dimensions and superior finish. Our mill uses Thermex technology for quenching and tempering, a process that enhances the strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance of our rebars. The quenching process creates a robust outer layer while retaining a flexible core, making Suryadev TMT rebars ideal for harsh environmental conditions and heavy loads.”

Quality and Dispatch

At Suryadev, quality is our priority. Every product undergoes stringent checks in our physical and chemical labs, testing for strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance to ensure compliance with the highest standards. Using advanced technology and an integrated quality management system, we guarantee consistent performance. Once certified, our TMT rebars are carefully stored and dispatched through a robust distribution network, ensuring timely delivery to projects across South India.

Power Generation

Powering our operations are two 80 MW Thermal Power Plants and a 30 MW Waste Heat Plant, ensuring uninterrupted energy for our integrated steelmaking process. With advanced systems designed for efficiency and reliability, we meet production demands seamlessly while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.
