The company also plays a key role in state’s energy sector, operating thermal and waste heat recovery power plants with a combined capacity of 190 MW. Certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45000 standards, and adhering to BIS norms, Suryadev is backed by strong credit ratings and a skilled workforce of over 2,000 professionals dedicated to quality and innovation.”

Began operations at Tamil Nadu’s first greenfield Thermex plant with a TMT production capacity of 200,000 TPA, marking a significant step in advancing regional infrastructure development.

Suryadev’s New Gummidipoondi Steel Plant recognized by the Ministry of Steel as a ‘Model Unit’ for efficient and high-quality production of TMT rebars.

Entered the power sector with the commissioning of two 80 MW thermal power plants, ensuring a reliable energy supply to support steel plant operations

Expanded finished steel capacity to 400,000 TPA with the installation of an advanced automated slit rolling mill, improving efficiency and meeting increasing market demands.

Achieved backward integration by commissioning two 650 TPD rotary kilns for DRI production. Enhanced sustainability efforts by significantly reducing carbon emissions through the addition of a waste-heat power plant.
